People are usually shocked with they find out that we’re from a family of eight kids. Not only are we large in size, but most of us are over 6 feet tall (even the girls)! We are one big, tall, Texas family.
Being from a large family has been a total blast for the two of us. We’ve absolutely loved it! There’s never a dull moment. But, like any normal family, we’ve faced our own fair share of challenges, differences, and conflicts. Even though we’re all from the same family, we are all very unique in our personalities.
Being different is a good thing, but it has a way of creating friction.
Being on the older end of the family (2nd and 3rd born), the two of us have learned that simply “being in the same family” isn’t enough to create deep, strong sibling relationships. If we want strong relationships with our siblings, we have to be intentional to proactively pursue them.
In today’s video, we share 3 of the most important things you can do right now to strengthen your sibling relationships. We also brought on our youngest sibling, Suzanna, to get her insight and perspective.
Whether you have one sibling or eight, we hope this video will equip you with the tools you need to build strong relationships with your siblings too.
