Stop Telling Christian Women the Lie "You're Enough"

Ep. 157 – Enjoy this important replay. Christian women are notorious for giving "feel good" encouragement. It might not be true. It might not be biblical. But, it makes us feel good in the moment.

"You're enough."
"Your turn is next!"

"Marriage is in your future."

They Want to Shut Us Down, but We’re Not Going Anywhere

“This hateful rhetoric shouldn’t be allowed to be published anywhere. Girl Defined should be shamed of themselves for attempting to set humankind back in time to conform to made up beliefs based off a fictional book about a magical sky wizard.”

This was a recent comment we received on the Girl Defined Podcast. As our culture continues to take radical steps away from God’s Word, we come under regular fire for our Biblically rooted beliefs about gender, womanhood, sexuality, and identity.

Regardless of how many “hate comments” we receive, we press on because we know that true hope is only found in the gospel.

No matter how unpopular it is to stand on God’s Word today, we will not waiver. As a ministry, we are committed to the Biblical discipleship of women everywhere. We remain unashamed in our pursuit of God’s design for womanhood. We know that the only one who can define us is the one who designed us.

Getting to share true gospel hope with women fuels us to press on.

Whether it’s through our weekly podcast, YouTube channel, books, online mentorship course, online events, or social media platforms — our passion is to help women everywhere understand who God is, and how to embrace their true identity in Him. There is a battle raging for the hearts and minds of the next generation, and we’re committed to engaging in this fight.

Why Single Women Desperately Need Sexual Mentorship

We surveyed hundreds of single women for our book Sex, Purity and the Longings of a Girl’s Heart. The answers were unanimous. Single women desperately need help, guidance and mentorship. They shared their struggles with porn, erotica, masturbation and said that they don’t know who or where to turn for help.

Married Christian women should be the FIRST ones to reach out with Biblical hope and truth. Married Christian women need to proactively mentor single women in this area. If we won’t do it, the world will.
