Why Modern Marriage Vows are Leading to Divorce

Modern marriage vows have become so shallow, they’re essentially paving the way toward divorce before a couple even says “I do.” Many Christian couples are adopting this dangerous language as well, which is contributing to our divorce-default culture. Marriage vows matter. Why? Because marriage and covenant matters to God. As Christians, we must shape our vows on the foundation of Biblical love, which will inform our reverence and respect for the sacred covenant we are entering into on our wedding day.
