Is Modesty Still Relevant for Christian Women?

Is Modesty Still Relevant for Christian Women?

Ep. 088 – Modesty is one of those topics that most Christians won't touch with a 10ft pole. It's controversial. It's divisive. It's confusing. It's just hard to talk about.  We get it. That's why we haven't talked about it much over the past few years either. That all changes today though. We're jumping back in the deep and going there. We're having the hard conversation.

Don't worry. We're not giving a list of "rights and wrongs" or "do's and don'ts." We're going deeper. We're talking about the heart. We're talking about the gospel. We're talking about when clothes were invented.

Today's conversation is one you don't want to miss.

Biological Male Gets Nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year

Ep. 087 – You read that right. A man has been nominated for the NCAA Woman of the Year award. This is a huge honor and one any biological woman would be honored to receive. But… no. There isn't room for real women any more. Men have entered the scene and they are taking over. They are literally erasing women before our eyes.

In today's show, we're discussing the sad story of Lia Thomas. A Biological man who recently transitioned into a "woman" and is now competing in women's sports. Many women (including his teammates) are outraged. And for good reason.

Let's unpack this from a biblical worldview.

How to Battle Porn Biblically as a Christian Woman

Many Christian women find themselves stuck in a struggle with porn, but feel completely unequipped to battle their sin Biblically. If that’s you, we want you to know that God’s Word is powerful enough to offer real heart change and lead you to a place of lasting freedom.

Sexual sin isn’t something new to our modern age, but something humans have been battling since the fall in Genesis 3. That’s why Jesus came back to our earth, to conquer sin and death and provide a way for us to be victorious over sin.

Today, we’ll unpack 4 Biblical steps on how to battle porn, taken from our book, Sex, Purity, and the Longings of a Girl’s Heart.
